Victoria Treviño

BCBS of Texas

Victoria Treviño is a fourth-generation Texan with deep roots in her Mexican-American heritage.  Raised in San Antonio, she later moved to Austin after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.

As a Senior Medicare Regional Sales Manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas - the state’s largest health insurer – Victoria has dedicated nearly two decades to assisting Medicare beneficiaries. Her passion lies in helping seniors and their families navigate their medical and prescription drug options, ensuring they make informed healthcare decisions.

Beyond her role with BCBS TX, Victoria is a trustee and serves on the Texas Legislative Council with the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), a national trade association for health insurance professionals. In recognition of her impact in the legislative arena, she was honored with the 2024 Legislative Excellence Award from NABIP Texas

Victoria also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC), advocating for economic growth and opportunities within the Hispanic business community. In 2020, she received the Latina Industry Leader Award from GAHCC for her contributions.

Outside of her professional work, Victoria is deeply committed to civic engagement, volunteering with Travis County Elections Office to educate the community on voting rights and collaborating with organizations to increase voter participation during elections.

Victoria is a proud, single mother to her son, Sebastián, who is currently pursuing studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
