From the beginning of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC), the education of our youth in the community has been  an important component of its mission.  Within four years, we propose to significantly reduce the number of freshmen students who drop out or are retained, improve the attendance rate, academic performance and self-esteem of the students.  Our target number is to reach 30 Eastside Memorial High School students.
